Entry Requirements

Entry is by audition only. Entry onto the course is based on the quality of performance and potential to develop on the course. The audition process will require you to take part in a group workshop session, which will involve a selection of acting exercises. You will also be asked to prepare two contrasting monologues. Further details about the audition process are available once interviews/auditions are arranged. Higher English and/or Higher Drama are recommended but not essential. Previous performance experience is preferred but not essential.

Description

The HND Acting and Performance course is predominately practical. You will train with expert teaching staff, delivering the necessary techniques and training needed to allow you to develop the disciplines required to become a fully rounded performer.

Course Content

Course topics include subjects such as: - Acting - Voice - Movement - Acting for Camera - Creating Devised Theatre - Graded Unit - Production and more..

Duration

Full Time. 2 Academic Years. August - June. 16 Hours per Week. Applicants wishing to study on a part-time basis will be considered and should provide information on this in their personal statement and at interview.
