Description This class provides experience working with tools and equipment in a modern jewellery workshop. We will provide a range of experiences to broaden your knowledge of this specialist environment. Course Content The Basic Jewellery bench skills will be taught including jewellery manufacturing, piercing, design transfer and many more skills which will enable you to work on designs of increasing complexity. The Advanced Jewellery class will teach you stone setting techniques, using our modern technologies and showing traditional setting styles. We will use advanced manufacturing and construction techniques and develop you skill and knowledge. The course is designed to encourage self-development and to push your bench skills. You will have access to visiting Gem dealers throughout the year, which will hopefully inspire your imagination. With our professional tutor’s guidance and our fully equipped workshops there are no boundaries to what you can make, you may even consider a career change. Duration Day Release. 1 Academic Year.
