Description
This Unit is designed to enable students to acquire skills in stone setting.
Course Content
Course includes: - Interpret a brief for a piece of jewellery. - Select and use appropriate materials and equipment. - Construct a stone setting. - Produce a piece of jewellery incorporating a stone setting. - Observe professional, office and studio practice. - Explain the workings of a jewellery repair service. - Produce a range of jewellery findings.. - Identify common defects in common items of jewellery. - Repair common defects in common items of jewellery.
Duration
Evening Class - Tuesday. Duration 20 Weeks. Begins 12th September 2017. 3 hours per night - 6.00 - 9.00 pm.
